Raise a Glass for the Royal British Legion
This Remembrance season, Raise a Glass returns for its third year as Marston’s and the Royal British Legion come together once again to support the annual Poppy Appeal.
From 23rd October to 11th November, guests at participating Marston’s pubs can purchase specially designed, limited-edition commemorative glassware, helping to raise vital funds and awareness for the Royal British Legion and the Armed Forces community. This year, 1,134 Marston’s pubs are taking part in the campaign.
Last year, our guests, pub teams and communities helped raise more than £128,000, and this year we’re hoping to make an even bigger difference.
Limited-Edition Commemorative Glassware
At the heart of this year’s campaign is a new commemorative glass designed by Army veteran and award-winning artist Jane Wilkes.
Featuring Jane’s interpretation of the poppy alongside the words “We Will Remember Them”, the glasses are available at participating Marston’s pubs while stocks last.
- Half-pint glass : £3.00, with £0.85 donated to the Royal British Legion
- Pint glass: £3.50, with £1.26 donated to the Royal British Legion

The Story Behind the Design
Jane Wilkes served for 15 years in the Army’s Adjutant General’s Corps, completing operational tours in Macedonia, Bosnia, Iraq and Afghanistan. During her final deployment, she was diagnosed with an aggressive form of breast cancer and returned home for treatment.
During her recovery, Jane received support from the Royal British Legion, including through its Battle Back Recovery Centre and Recovery Through the Arts programme. The experience helped her rebuild her confidence and rediscover her creativity. Today, she is an award-winning artist.
Her 2026 glass design uses a poppy from her original artwork and a landscape inspired by The Wrekin in Shropshire, creating something deeply personal that represents the stories at the heart of this year’s campaign.
