Justin Platt
Chief Executive Officer
Justin was appointed as Chief Executive Officer in January 2024. He has over 30 years’ experience in hospitality and consumer-facing businesses, having spent 12 years at Merlin Entertainments, most recently as Chief Strategy Officer and, prior to that, in a variety of operational leadership roles. Justin’s combination of operational and strategic experience in multi-site leisure businesses equips him to lead Marston’s through the next phase of its development.

Hayleigh Lupino
Chief Financial Officer
Hayleigh was appointed Chief Financial Officer in October 2021, having previously been Director of Group Finance, and held a number of senior roles previously at Marston’s. Hayleigh is a qualified Chartered Management Accountant and has strong operational and commercial credentials, as well as extensive knowledge of both Marston’s and the wider pub and brewing sector. As well as the finance and treasury functions, Hayleigh also leads the IT and Procurement functions and chairs the Diversity & Inclusion (D&I) Taskforce helping to shape the Company’s D&I strategy. Hayleigh is also a member of the WiHTL & Diversity in Retail CFO Board.

Bethan Raybould
General Counsel & Company Secretary
Bethan was appointed as General Counsel and Company Secretary on 1 February 2022, having previously been the Group’s legal counsel since joining the company in 2013. Bethan is a qualified solicitor who has worked in both private practice and in-house, with a background in M&A, commercial, IP and contractual and risk management matters. She played a key role in the creation of the partnership with Carlsberg UK and the innovative transaction with SA Brain & Co to operate a large portfolio of Welsh pubs.

Neil Campbell
Chief Operations Officer
Neil joined Marston’s in October 2024 as Chief Operating Officer, responsible for leading the Group’s operations team and market-leading pub operating model. Bringing extensive hospitality, leisure and retail experience from previously held senior leadership positions at both SSP Group and Whitbread, Neil has particular expertise in leading transformational change programmes, business acquisition & integration across multinational organisations.

Ed Hancock
Chief Development Officer
Ed was appointed to the newly created role of Chief Development Officer in October 2024, having held senior leadership positions across Marston’s Operations and Property team since he first joined the Group in 2001.
As the longest-standing member of Marston’s Executive team, Ed brings extensive knowledge of both the business and its strategic direction to the role, in which he is responsible for developing and delivering Marston’s ambitious investment strategy, including the rollout of the Group’s differentiated pub formats.

Mags Dixon
Commercial Marketing Director
Mags joined Marston’s in October 2021 as the Group’s Commercial Marketing Director, responsible for spearheading innovative brand and marketing strategies that drive significant revenue growth and market out-performance. As a current member of the advisory board of Manchester Business School and having held senior leadership roles at businesses including Whitbread PLC and Yum Brands, Mags has a proven track record in complex stakeholder management, high-profile brand development, acquisition and turnaround, and award-winning digital and multi-channel marketing activations.

Liam Powell
Group People Director
Liam was appointed as Marston’s Group People Director in January 2019, having originally joined the business in 2015 as Head of HR and Reward. As a Board member of the British Beer & Pub Association in Wales and having held senior HR positions at Ideal Standard International and Spirit Pub Company, Liam is an experienced people leader with an uncompromising approach to achieving personal and business goals. In his current role, Liam is responsible for the Group People Strategy and embedding Marston’s performance-driven culture, leading the teams responsible for shared services, diversity & inclusion, business partnering, learning and training, talent development, and reward & recognition.
