Carnival Queen and Princess help open new Brickworks pub and restaurant

Dozens of people attended the official opening of The Brickworks, on Hyndburn Road in Accrington, which has created 50 full and part-time local jobs.

John Milnes, manager said

We had a fantastic first day on Monday. The Carnival Queen and Princess of Accrington came and cut the ribbon with a crowd of 30 watching. After the pub was opened we were super busy all day which is great. The Brickworks has a pizza oven installed and a 2 for 1 menu which went down a storm. Not only do we serve Marston’s beers on tap we also have Lancaster Bomber and Wainwrights which are local to the area.
